BRYAN COUNTY – Results varied for the Bryan County elections on Tuesday night.
The $465,000 bond for the Colbert Public Schools passed: Yes – 88.1 percent; No – 11.9 percent.
The $1,500,000 bond for the Rock Creek Public Schools, which needed a 60 percent Yes vote, did not pass: Yes – 53.4 percent; No – 46.6 percent.
Both bonds were described to provide funds for the purpose of constructing, equipping, repairing and remodeling school buildings, acquiring school furniture, fixtures and equipment and acquiring and improving school sites.
