First United Amy Caskey TISHOMINGO – As a values-based organization, First United’s purpose is to inspire and empower  others to Spend Life Wisely, which includes a holistic approach to life that encompasses faith, financial well-being, health and wellness, and personal growth.   Does that sound like a bank or more like an organization committed to public service? For First United, it’s both – an exciting new kind of financial services organization taking shape in Tishomingo, Okla.      First United strongly believes in community and aims to empower and enrich the communities it serves.  They are proud of the legacy they are helping to create by meeting customers where they are and  empowering them, their families, and their communities.     “First United believes in investing in thriving communities where we live and are connected, and we are  thrilled to be open in Tishomingo,” said Raye Lyn Cole, the Community Bank President in Tishomingo. “I  am excited and proud to welcome the community to our new location and look forward to helping others to Spend Life Wisely.”    First United will be hosting a grand opening on Thursday, December 15, at 1301 East Main St.,  Tishomingo, Okla., and invites the community to experience the difference in their new hometown bank.  The open house will be from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., the Johnston County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon  Cutting will take place at 3:30 p.m., and Santa will be on hand for pictures from 4-6 p.m.
