Rain, winds bring new year into Bryan County

BRYAN COUNTY – The new year came into Bryan County on the back of strong wind, precipitation and  colder temperatures.

Rain fell off and on throughout the county since the clock struck midnight, bringing in 2022.

The rain became stronger around 7 a.m. with winds of 15 m.p.h. and gusts to 20-30.

As of 10 a.m., 2.38 inches of rainfall had been reported in the area in the last 24 hours

The weather will continue to get colder throughout the day. Temperatures are predicted to fall into the 20s by late evening and into the teens by Sunday morning.
