Hubert Lee Presley, age 88, of Colbert, OK, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at his residence. Hubert L. Presley was born May 23, 1930 to Joe Nathan Presley and Georgia Swan. Hubert left Colbert, Oklahoma to live in Los Angeles, California where he spent 40 years working as a foreman at the exclusive Wilshire Terrace Penthouse Apartments in Beverly Hills, California where he retired. Hubert had a love for his family, friends and was always willing to help others. He also shared a love for horses and antique cars. He was married for over 56 years to the love of his life, Robie Leola Presley who proceeded him in death. Hubert was loved by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and a host of family members, friends, and members of the professional community.
He is survived by his children; Tommy Jean Lake (Willie) Husband deceased, Diane Presley, Barbara Ann Roberts, Hershel Presley, Elvis Presley, his brothers; Cecil Carl Presley, Eddie Lewis Presley, Robert Hazel Presley, Jimmy Gordon Presley, numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his children; Georgia Pearl Presley & Thomas “Stinky” Presley, his parents; Joe Nathan Presley & Georgia Swan, his brothers; Bobby Jo Presley & James Henry Presley, his sisters; Eva Mae Presley, Lula Mae Presley & Minnie Elaine Presley.
A graveside service was held on June 26, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Colbert East Cemetery, Colbert, Okla.
