Edna Earline Parrish

Edna Earline Parrish, a resident of Ada, Okla., arrived in her Heavenly Home on April 1, 2019 in Ada at the age of 68. She was the daughter of Alfred Smith Teel and Willie Ernestine Teel (Meals) born on October 26th, 1950.

Edna was a member of the Ada First Free Will Church. She was raised in Blue, Okla., but spent the las 3 ½ years in Ada, Oklahoma. Edna loved working with her hands crafting and sewing. She also enjoyed singing and dancing.

Mrs. Parrish was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Smith Teel.

Mrs. Parrish is survived by her mother, Willie Ernestine Teel; sister, Evelyn LaFargue of Devine, Texas and Regina Teel of Blue, Okla.; children: Tina Pendleton of Ada, Okla., Connie Bruza of Duncan, Okla., and Bruce Jones of El Reno, Okla.; beloved grandchildren, Nick Jones of Stonewall, Okla., Jeremie Jones of Dallas, Texas, Christina Haywood of Ada, Okla., Rachel Martin of Oklahoma City, Okla., Austin Bruza of Oklahoma City, Okla., Rebecca Bruza of Duncan, Okla., Hannah Bruza of Duncan, Okla., Robert Jones of Yukon, Okla., and Brandon Jones of El Reno, Okla.; great-grandchildren, Bentley Jones, Gage Jones, Bracin Jones, Ayden Martin, and Danica Haywood; along with many nephews, nieces, and loved ones.

Family hour will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 4 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. A service in her honor will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 5 at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel.

Her final resting place will be the Bokchito Cemetery with Larry Nichols Jones, Jeremie Wilson Jones, Robert Lee Jones, Brandon Noah Jones, Austin Tyler Bruza, and William Dale Robinson as her pallbearers.
