Ashley Sharp, of Nocona, Texas, passed from this life on Thursday, Aug. 1, 2019 at the age of 35. She was born on Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1984 in Durant, Okla. to James Ray and Marsha Jean (Waters) Sharp.
Ashley was a longtime resident of Bryan County. She enjoyed music, collecting things, camping, going to the lake and spending time with her kids.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Amber Sharp; grandmother, Birdie Waters; grandfather, Jacky Sharp; two great-grandmothers, Thelma Hallman and Mary Etta Burcham.
Survivors include her father, James Sharp of Calera, Okla.; mother, Marsha Sharp of Denison, Texas; grandmother, Anna Jay Sharp of Calera, Okla.; sons: Vincent Kirby of Denison, Texas, Dylan Kirby of Denison, Texas, Presley Sharp-Resendiz of Denison, Texas, Kruiz Resendiz of Nocona, Texas; daughter, Taraden Sorrels of Cartwright, Okla.; significant other, Wesley Resendiz of Nocona, Texas; sisters: Paige Sharp of Oklahoma City, Okla., Tonya Hodges of Oklahoma City, Okla., Haley Sharp of Sherman, Texas; brother, Harley Sharp of Sherman, Texas; one niece, one nephew and numerous aunts, uncles and extended family.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5, 2019 at the Rose Hill Cemetery in Calera, Okla. with Bro. Terry Brown officiating.

I will remember us as kids, playing dress up in your mom’s clothes…Marsha didn’t know we played in her clothes. She will now rest easy girl. Thoughts are with you Marsha, Haley and Harley.
