COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado — Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College freshman Karissa Marshall was selected to the second team of the National Junior Collegiate Athletic Association Women’s Division I
softball all-American team.
Marshall, an outfielder from Silo, Oklahoma, led the Lady Norse in
several offensive categories. While hitting .383 in 188 at-bats, Marshall collected 17 doubles, one triple and 16 homeruns. She recorded 58 runs batted in and 40 runs scored. Her .739 slugging percentage, also led the team.
NEO finished second in the Oklahoma Collegiate Athletic Conference
with a 26-6 record. The Lady Norse finished No. 20 in the nation with
a 41-16 overall mark.
