“After careful consideration, I am announcing my candidacy for Bryan County Commissioner, District 1. I am excited for the great future this county has ahead of us. I believe there are several areas that need attention to ensure our county has the necessary infrastructure to support economic growth over the next several years. I know that my experience will help bring the needed focus for strategic planning to ensure we are able to continue our growth and provide much needed citizen services to Bryan County residents.”
Goad, a Republican and Durant resident, has lived in Durant most of his life. He has worked in the Information Technology industry for the last 20 years, having worked at Microsoft Corporation for the last 13 years. Goad is a graduate of Durant High School and Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems.
