The Rock Creek ISD is heading to distance learning for Feb. 10-12.
In a letter to the school district posted on its Facebook page, Superintendent Rob Frederick wrote:
“With the possibility that the weather will continue to worsen through the night, we will be moving to distance learning for the remainder of the week, February 10-12.
“If forecasts remain the same, we will remain that way through the early part of next week. We were
already scheduled to be virtual this Friday the 12th and out on Monday the 15th for
President’s Day.
“We will update everyone on Monday evening about whether we will return to in-person learning on Tuesday, February 16th. Please stay safe during this cold spell.”
Also noted on the Facebook page is the notification of the district pep rally and mini-cheer performance:
“Due to expected inclement weather, we are cancelling the district pep rally scheduled for Thursday. This means there will not be a mini-cheer performance. We appreciate everyone’s support and understanding. The cheerleaders enjoyed working with our outstanding mini-cheerleaders during our camp. Please be safe and stay warm.”
