DURANT – Two people were found dead on Monday and a suspect has been arrested in conjunction with the incident. The police have issued this statement:
On Monday, Mar. 2, 2020, at around 11 a.m., Durant Police were called to 1125 Stonebrook Circle in reference to shots fired.
Police found a deceased male, preliminarily identified as Jarrick Hageon, inside the home. A juvenile witness advised the suspect was Kyon Gray.
At about 2 p.m., Kyon Gray was located, arrested and admitted to the shooting. At about 3 p.m., a vehicle was located off the roadway around the 2500 block of Sunnyside Rd. Inside the vehicle was a deceased female, preliminarily identified as Jessica Espinoza.
At this time, the investigation is ongoing and the police will try to update with additional
information as they can.
