Mary Lee (Hill) Vansickle passed from this life on Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2021, in Durant, Okla. She was born on August 4, 1942, in Wade, Okla. to Cecil and Emogene (Smith) Hill.
Mary was an avid gardener and even won “Yard of the Month.” She enjoyed spending time with her family and seeing everyone she loved happy. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her three sons, Jerry Kuykendall, Randal Kuykendall, Brent Kuykendall and one daughter, Brooke Wilson. Also surviving her are her two sisters, Pat Stinson and June Kirkpatrick and one brother, Cecil Hill, along with 16 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids, and dear friends and caregivers, Gina Stowers (Jenna) and Kristy Phillips.
Preceding Mary in death are her parents, Cecil and Emogene; her daughter, Angela Wilson; sisters, Jean Mitchell, Doris Mitchell, Lavena Warner, Cheryl Hill, and Gloria Mock; and a brother, William Hill.
A family hour will be held at the Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home in Durant, Okla. on Friday, Oct. 29, 2021, from 6-8 p.m.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2021, at 11 a.m. in the Mead Cemetery in Mead, Okla. with interment to follow. Serving as pall bearers will be Matthew Kuykendall, Calyn Kuykendall, Gavin Kuykendall, Kameron Kuykendall, Nicholas Kuykendall, and Aaron Kuykendall.
