Kevin Means

Kevin Wayne Means, passed from this life on April 20, 2023, at the age of 53, at his home in Cartwright, Okla. Kevin was born March 19, 1970 to Shirley and Johnny Means in Denison, Texas.

He graduated from Denison High School.  Kevin played football for the Denison Yellow Jackets. He also worked at Alcoa in Denison and received an honorable discharge from the United States Navy. He was happier knowing that he could make you smile and laugh by doing crazy things, telling jokes or posting crazy things on line.

He was preceded in death by Gary Daniel of Cartwright, Okla.; his grandparents, Jack and Florene Means of Denison, Texas; and Calvin and Bessie Hornbeck of Cartwright, Okla.

Kevin is survived by his mother Shirley Daniel of Cartwright, Okla.; his father, Johnny Lee Means and wife Rachel of Denison, Texas; brothers, Bryan Lee Means and wife Holly of Colbert, Okla., and Benjamin Means and wife Ann of Olympia, Wash.; sons, Caleb Means, Joshua Means, Colton Means, Brayden Means and Trevor Cole; daughters, Haylee and Kaitlyn Means; step-sisters, Dana Garrison and Tammy Bently; numerous aunts uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends.

Kevin has touched so many lives and was loved by everyone. He will be missed.Kevin loved all his children. He may be gone but will never be forgotten.  Fly higher than you have ever flown Kevin.

A memorial service was held in his honor on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at American Funeral Service Chapel with Richard Gage officiating.
