Kathy Langham

Katherine Jane (Winsett) Langham passed away on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, in Denison, Texas at the age of 76. Kathy was born on Dec. 6, 1944, in Caddo, Okla., to J.B. and Lois (Price) Winsett.

Kathy has been a lifelong resident of Bryan County and married Harold Ray Langham on Nov. 17, 1963, and to this union was born one daughter, Glenda. They were united as one for 48-plus years until Harold’s passing on July 31, 2012. Kathy was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was teacher for the Acteens. She loved to study the bible, sing in the choir, crocheting and sewing.

Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold Ray Langham; parents, J.B. and Lois Winsett; siblings: Betty Perry, Jeannie Gregory, Linda Reed, Mickey Winsett and Becky Rose.

Kathy is survived by her daughter, Glenda Langham; sisters, Bobbie Ruby and Uvonne Duppstadt and husband Jim and numerous extended family and dear friends.

Services to celebrate Kathy’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021. at Calvary Baptist Church. Pastor Darel Bunch and Pastor Robert Griffin will officiate. Interment will be in Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Okla.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
