Donna Pierson passed from this life on January 2, 2023 at the age of 69. She was born on August 19, 1953 in Lyons, Kan., to Eldon Jay and Bobbie Jean (McBurnette) Pierson.
Donna was kind-hearted and hard working. She loved working with the elderly. She worked as a nurse for King’s Daughters & Sons Nursing Home and would go back to check on the residents on her days off. She enjoyed her pets. She especially loved play days at the rodeo with Cricket, her favorite horse. She also loved running the barrels.
Those left to cherish her memory are her mother Jean Pierson and her sister Susan Pierson both of Caddo, Okla. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death is her father, Eldon Jay Pierson, and her brother, Jay Ross Pierson.
A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, January 16, 2023 at 4 p.m. at Victory Life Church in Durant, Okla.
Services are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home,121 North Fifth Ave. in Durant.
