Diana (Stair) Brown, former resident of Silo, left this life on July 15, 2018 at the age of 53 in Poteau, Okla.
She was born on June 6, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Edward and Myrna (Hibdon) Stair.
She enjoyed running track and playing basketball. She loved her girls and her family. She was a graduate of Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University with an associate’s and a bachelor of science degree. She was a member of the Kemp Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters; Brittany Ella and Danny Vafadar of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Brandy Brown of Marietta, Okla.; Sisters: Terri Stair of Durant, Sharon Bauerkemper of Georgiana, Ala., Donna Stair of Houston, Texas; Brothers: Eddie and Rick Stair of Durant; Nephews: Wes, Kayle, Scott, Brent, Ace, Evan, Colton, and Justin; Nieces: Diana, Erin, Amy, Kacie, Megan, Kendra, Kellie, and Madison; Granddaughters: Capri, Elliza and one on the way, Willow. She was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Kyle Lee Stair.
Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, July 20 at the Gordon Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 21 at the Bell Tower Chapel, 218 N. Third Ave., Durant, with Bro. Roger Spears officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Wesley, Stair, Kayle Ward, Justin Baugh, Daniel Culotta, Tom Magin, and Danny Vafadar.
Gordon Funeral Home, 221 N. Third Ave., Durant, OK will be handling the arrangements.
