Cerda’s condition upgraded

Southeastern baseball player Joseph Cerda’s condition is improving following a hit-and-run incident last weekend.

His status at the UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock has been upgraded from “critical” to “serious,” according to Katrina Dupins, Communications Director.

The Savage Storm baseball team takes to the field again today, hosting UT-Tyler in Durant. The team is using the hashtag #39Strong to keep Cerda in the thoughts of all who see it. Cerda wears No. 39 for the Storm.
