Billy Don Corley Sr. was born June 16, 1935, in Blue, Okla. to William and Minnie Corley. Bill entered eternal rest on January 5, 2022, peacefully at his home in Blue.

Bill worked for Affiliated Food Stores Distribution Center for 29 years in Keller, Texas. Following his retirement, he and Vestal moved back to his hometown of Blue, Okla. Bill enjoyed working on his land and frequent visits to Choctaw Casino. He also loved family vacations at the beach and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill left quite a legacy for his children and grandchildren. He loved every single one unconditionally and always stepped up to help in times of need. Bill accepted every member of the family wholeheartedly whether by blood, marriage, or adoption. He will be greatly missed by all.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Vestal and his eldest daughter, Cindy Phillips.

Bill is survived by his children: Denise King of Blue and Billy Corley Jr. and wife Channa of Durant; grandchildren: Holly King, Natalie Resendez and husband Jeffrey, Curtis McMennamy and wife April, Codie Henderson and husband Matt, Rebekah Bowling and husband Cody, Matthew Corley, Chloe Corley and Lily Corley; great-grandchildren: Ashley King, Amberli King, Alicia Peradez, McKenzie King, Emma McMennamy, Cash McMennamy, Gage, Emeri, Ellie, Giah, Jordan, Kayden, Luna, Octavia and Astrid; great-great-grandchildren: Jayden, Kainan, Zaiden, Stratson and Isaiah and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

We would like to thank the staff at Calera Manor Nursing Home and Guardian Hospice for the excellent care and compassion shown to Bill.

A celebration of Bill’s life will be held at 4 p.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel. The service will be live streamed on Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service Facebook page.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
