On May 29, 2017, we posted our first story on the Bryan County Patriot, promoting Splash Day at the city pool. Today, we celebrate five years serving you.
During this time, the Patriot has sought to bring news and features to the county and the Texoma area. The mission is to find positive stories when and where we can and bring a good word to the readers.
It has been a privilege to promote our county with posts about our schools, businesses, organizations, churches and especially the wonderful people who make everything go. The site has evolved somewhat, but not the commitment to post quality material, edited for AP style.
We have included the publication of obituaries to celebrate the lives of those in our community who have passed on – always doing so at no charge to the families.
