DURANT – First United Bank has announced Kevin Georgetti as its Chief Compliance Officer. In this role, he will oversee the BSA/AML department, Compliance department, and the development and implementation of the regulatory compliance risk management framework as First United continues to grow.
Georgetti joins First United with 10 years of experience as an attorney in New Jersey, 14 years of experience as General Counsel for a $400 million Korean American community bank, and 6 years leading the Compliance function at a $26 billion bank in New Jersey. He graduated from Alvernia University in 1985 and New York Law School in 1988.
Georgetti says that his favorite part about his job is “collaborating with others to resolve issues and develop products.”
Outside of work, he enjoys walking and reading and is a member of the Knights of Columbus. He and his wife, Rita, have been married for almost 29 years and they have one son, Tim.
