Dessie Mae Rose of Bokchito passed from this life on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 at the age of 86. She was born in Bokchito, Okla. on Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1932 to Ruby Lee and Winnie Mae (Hall) Harris.
She came to Bokchito from Del City in 1993. She married Eldon Ray Rose on July 5, 1952 in De Queen, Ark.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Her husband died on February 14, 2001. She is survived by her daughters Kathy Rose of Norman, Okla., Linda Gail (Rose) Terry of Norman, Phyllis Fisher and husband Marty of Bennington, Okla., and Debbie Ann (Rose) White and husband Mauro Cichero of Oklahoma City, Okla.; sister, Dorothy Lee Dalton of Del City, Okla.; granddaughters Shannon Remieski of Edmond, Okla. and Lindsay Candy of Yukon, Okla.; grandsons Sean White of Austin, Texas, Brandon Fisher of
Tuttle, Okla. and Jonathan White of Austin.
She loved gardening, flowers and taking care of cattle. She was a lifelong Baptist.
Bro. Ross Phillips will be officiating. Marty Fisher, Pat Ricks, Sean White, Jonathan White, Larry Dalton and Brandon Fisher will be serving as pallbearers.
A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018 at the Reynolds Chapel, Bennington, OK. followed by a graveside interment at the Bokchito Cemetery.
