Joseph Wendyl McWilliams, 83 of Kingston, Okla., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018 at AllianceHealth hospital in Madill, Okla.
He was born on February 27, 1934 in Old Woodville, Okla. to the late Arch McWilliams and Alice McCuan McWilliams. He was raised in Old Woodville and graduated from the Kingston High School in 1952. Wendyl later attended a trade school to be a Cable Technician and worked for CableCom for 45 years.
He married Adelya Clemmons in August 1969 and she preceded him on Nov. 12, 1986. He later married Helen Easley in October 1987 in Kingston. In 1997, he retired and moved back to Kingston where he lived the rest of his life. Wendyl was a member of the Kingston Pentecostal Holiness Church where he taught Sunday School for many years. Wendyl enjoyed hunting, watching sports and working with his bees as a bee keeper and he was a published book author and wrote the book, Dark Corner and Beyond.

Wendyl was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and one brother; Richard McWilliams.
Visitation will be Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018 at Watts Funeral Home, Kingston, Oklahoma from 11 am to 9 p.m. with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Services will be Friday, Feb. 16, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Kingston Cemetery. Mike Hobbs and Joey McWilliams will officiate the service. Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home, Madill, Oklahoma. Condolences may be sent to wattsfuneralhome.com
