Dean Blake Haislip, 19 of Bennington, Oklahoma passed away on July 16, 2026, at his home. Dean was born on February 21, 2007, in Ada, Oklahoma. Dean graduated from Bennington High School. He attended Blue River Fellowship Church in Caddo and Big Creek Family Worship in Bokchito. He loved basketball and the time he spent with family and friends.
Dean is preceded in death by his father, John Haislip Sr.; brother, David Haislip; brother, Seminole Nieto; uncle, Tyler Betsey; and aunt Angela Nix.
Dean is survived by is mother, Vivian Haislip of Bennington; mom, Jennifer Orr and husband Christopher of Broken Arrow; siblings: Mickie Campbell and husband Jamey, John “Jay” Haislip and wife Heidi, Robbie Haislip, Zane Haislip, Bella Haislip and husband Austin, Dustin Haislip, Matt Haislip, Chance Haislip, Bobby Haislip, Chaythen Haislip, Ricky Haislip and wife Stephanie, Beautiful Valeri, Shamyra Bland, Sha’Nya Bland, Angelito Nieto, Adonis Nieto, and Beloved Weeden; grandparents, Lillie Webb, Tina Betsey, and Robert Nix and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday July 23, 2026, at the Bennington High School Gymnasium. Pastor Darren Harber will officiate. Interment will be in Bentley Indian Cemetery with Caydien Carlton, Jerimiah Hunt, Greyson Tarr, Huck Hambrick, Jacob Munholland, Hunter Gibson, Jackson Wood, and Chaythen Haislip serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Daniel Singleton and Kolt Mendenhall. The family will receive friends at Brown’s Funeral Service Durant on Wednesday evening from 6-8 PM.
