Dale Adams Heflin, 73, of Wichita Falls, Texas, passed from this life on May 12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Dale was born on January 2, 1953, in Albany, Okla., to Archie Snow Heflin and Eura Evelyn (Adams) Heflin.
Dale attended and graduated from Yuba Public School. He moved from Bryan County in the ’70s to Texas and pursued a rodeo career focused on bull riding in the CRA (Central Rodeo association). He retired bull riding to pursue a career as a barber and subsequent founder of the hair salon chain named “Shear Cuts”. Dale was also the founder of the Bull Factory and 5-H Cattle Co. Dale was a Christian man. He enjoyed life on the ranch, watching western movies, fishing, raising calves, dogs, bucking bulls, rodeo, and living the western lifestyle.
Dale is preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Eura Heflin; brothers, Buddy and Bryan Heflin; and sister, Ella Butler.
He is survived by his son, Brandon Hagen of Midland, Texas; son, Ryan Throne and spouse Courteny of Fort Worth, Texas; son, Jacky Heflin of Rising Star, Texas; son, Jason Heflin and spouse Misty of Blooming Grove, Texas; son, Jeffrey Heflin of Wichita Falls, Texas; grandsons: Connor McGraw, Ryatt Heflin, and Harlan Heflin; brothers: James Heflin, Jerry Heflin, and Weldon Heflin; sister, Evelyn Sample and husband Donald and numerous extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2026, at 9 a.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel with Pastor Roger Speers officiating. Interment will follow at Albany Cemetery with Jacky Heflin, Jason Heflin, Jeffrey, Ryan Throne, Luis Portales, Butch Heflin, Austin Price, and Gage Thomason serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
