Graveside services for Jimmy Dale Cross, 77, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Gethsemane Cemetery in Caddo, Oklahoma. Hospice chaplain David Kautt will officiate.
Jimmy Dale Cross was born on Tuesday, March 30, 1948 in Atoka, Oklahoma to James Mitchell Cross and Bulah Elizabeth (Roy) Cross and passed from this life on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 in his Bokchito home.
Jimmy was employed as a carpenter most of his life. He served in the United States Army from 1966 – 1969 and again from 1974 – 1975. Jimmy is a Vietnam veteran and proudly served our country during his time in the military. Jimmy received the Vietnam Campaign Medal, 2 Overseas Bars, Marksman M-14, Vietnam Service Medal, and National Defense Service Medal.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; a son, James Ray Cross on June 17, 2004; and siblings, David, Daisy, and Jane.
He is survived by a best friend, Sarah Ann Haddock of Bokchito, Oklahoma; a sister, Frankie Lewis of Blue, Oklahoma; a brother, Jerrell Roy of Waco, Texas; cousins, Mark McIninch and B.J. McIninch; and other family and friends.
