DURANT – The Durant Area Chamber of Commerce honored a local business at its new location on Tuesday afternoon.
Business presented by Kiamichi Tech.
Texoma Taxes can now be found at 518 N. Washington in Durant. Robert and Fior Newman and their family own and operate the business that does tax preparation and more.
The establishment was previously located at 200 W. Beech St. and opened under the name 3 Amigos.
The Newmans can help with tax work with an emphasis on personal taxes and those of small businesses and they specialize in Spanish translation.
“We really enjoy our new location,” Robert said. “We have good neighbors here. And we want to do anything we can to help anyone who walks in our door.”
During tax season – which is right now – the business is open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and on Saturdays from 1-6 p.m.
