Kiamichi Tech
WILBURTON, Okla. – Dara McCoy, Senior Director of Finance for Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, took the oath of office to serve on the Kiamichi Tech Board of Education at the Board meeting in February. McCoy will represent Zone 5 of the Kiamichi Tech District, which includes Durant and surrounding communities.
“We are excited to have Ms. McCoy join our Board of Education,” Superintendent Shelley Free said. “She has proven strategic leadership experience and is a strong advocate for education and improving lives in Southeast Oklahoma.”
McCoy is a Calera resident and alumna of Oklahoma State University and Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Prior to her current role, she served in communications and grants for Choctaw Nation.
“I am passionate about mission-driven organizations that are positively impacting lives,” McCoy said. “So, I am honored to serve on the Board of Education, and look forward to working with the other Board members and Kiamichi Tech administration.”
