Holiday Craft Show is back

DURANT – Like many things in 2020, the Holiday Craft Show at Donald W. Reynold Library took a hiatus.

But it is back in 2021!

The Friends of the Library is once again hosting its annual craft show.

Library Director Robbee Tonubbee said things are almost ready for this weekend’s event.

“We’re back on track for our holiday craft show,” Tonubbee said. “This year, we have 25 vendors, including the Friends (of the Library). This is something that the Friends of the Library put on every year. Vendors show up to sell their goods – everything from jewelry to candy and jams and gifts and stationery and more. And we have a lot of new people this year.”

The event will run on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. until about 3 p.m.

“We still have a quilt to raffle off,” Tonubbee said of the item that is annually a part of the Show. “It was made by Heritage Quilters and donated to the Friends. You can tickets for that here.

“And we’re here blasting the holiday music in the 77 degree heat.”

So no matter the temperature outside, there is a holiday feel inside the library and everyone is welcome to come out this weekend.
