Donald was born Saturday, Feb. 17, 1968 in Oklahoma City, Okla. to Donald Gene Wilson II and Norma Jean (Robinson) Wilson. Donald grew up in OKC and was a 1986 graduate of NW Classen High School in Oklahoma City. Donald married Debra Longley on Feb. 22, 2014 in Yukon, Okla. He had lived in Yukon the past 10 years.
Donald began his work as a musician in which his dad introduced to him at the young age of 10. He was an accomplished guitarist, and was associated with several bands: O.I.T., Sound Chief, The Healers, Venice and Bloodline, to name a few. Donald’s last employment was with the Choctaw Nation Headquarters where he worked in ROOTS. He worked as a cook for 10 years and was about to become the Head Chef for ROOTS until he became disabled with a foot injury.
Donald enjoyed working on cars, cooking, and going out on adventures especially trying to find Bigfoot.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Debra, of the Yukon home; daughter, Leah Wilson and Tatre Orange with their daughter, Nyla Wilson-Orange, of Anadarko, Okla.; son, Vincent Cozad and his wife, Kara, with their kids, Justice and Kailynn, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and one brother, Kevin Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla.
A celebration of life for Donald will be held at a later date in the near future.
