Harry Clifford Forster, of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 at the age of 94. He was born on Tuesday, April 13, 1926.
He married Loraine Radebach on September 10, 1946 in Michigan.
He moved from Michigan to Arizona and then to Eufaula, Okla. in 1976. He later moved to Bryan County and made it his retirement home. He was a member of the U.S. Army in the 11th airborne as a paratrooper in WWII. Harry was always happy and enjoyed visiting with his many friends. He was loved by all his friends and many who knew him on Facebook.
He was preceded in death by parents and his wife, Loraine Forster on Oct. 19, 1994.
He is survived by sons: Harry Forster, Jr, Calvin Forster, Tom and Pam Forster, Earl and Nanci Forster; daughters: Linda and Richard Pritchard, Sandra Carlson, Katherine and Dewey Guthrie, Jr.; six grandchildren; special Calera friends: Don Hyde, Joel “Butch” Scalf, Brenda Scalf, Peggy Ervin, Johnny Grantland, Myrtle Gillispie, Ricky Hebert; his Eufaula friends: Don and Kristy Willoby, Michelle Willoby Cardell, Trena Willoby Sturgis, Megan and Morgan Willoby, Branck Willoby, Hunter Shaeffer, John and Karen Willoby, J.R. Bussard and Gary Willoby.
Special thanks to Rachel McKinney, the Director of Featherstone Living Center and the staff for the best of care to Harry as well as Dana Gould with Victory Home Health and Hospice.
