Bernice (Franks) White was Born on July 21, 1929 in Bartlesville, Okla. to J.K. and Eva (Daugherty) Franks. Bernice passed away on Friday, August 21, 2020 at home surrounded by her sweet family at the age 91. 
Bernice married Smith (Son) Wayne White. They were married for 70 years on June 5, 2018. Smith passed away on July 30, 2018. Bernice was a loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She and Smith were faithful members of Armstrong Baptist Church for many years and she was a faithful member of the WMU organization at church. She loved embroidery and later in life enjoyed coloring. Bernice’s memory will be greatly treasured and cherished by her family and dear friends.
Bernice is survived by her daughters Jean Lewis of Durant, Okla., Terecia Beam of Denton, Texas, Cathy Roller of Calera, Okla., Yvonne Cullum and husband David of Krum, Texas and Elaine Thurmon of Celina, Texas; only son, Smith White Jr. and wife Carrie of Nocona, Texas; 13 granddaughters, three grandsons, 16 great-granddaughters, 17 great-grandsons, four great-great-granddaughters and three great-great-grandsons; brothers, Tony Franks of East Texas and Butch Franks of Bartlesville, Okla.; sister, Ronnie Coleman and numerous extended family and friends. 
Bernice was preceded in death by her husband Smith (Son) Wayne White; parents, J.K. and Eva Franks and siblings, Lettie Mae O’Neal, Myra Franks, Deanie Shaw, Lou Johnson and Wayne Franks.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel.
