J. Dwayne “Budgy” Jones, 86 of Bokchito, Okla., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 12, 2019 at his home. Budgy was born on Dec. 17, 1933 in Forester, Arkansas to Elberg Edward and Bertha Burke Jones. 
Budgy is survived by his loving wife, Reba Maxwell Jones; daughter, Angela Schreiber and husband Kelly; Nnece, Dona Wade and husband Don; nephew, Brian Neal and wife Marina; grandchildren: Melissa Fleming and husband Daniel, Amy Olveda and husband Robert, Brendon Harris, Laura Harris-Keller, Zach Harris and wife Toni, Ashley Stevenson and husband Nick; great-grandchildren, Tristan, Pierce, Hayden, Addisen, Layla, Devin, Alex, Liam, Tobias and ReAnna; step-children, Rick Phillips, Robbie Dudley, Stella McCarley, Ross Phillips and wife Rita; and their children, Tina Phillips, Amanda Tomsino, Kim Boyd, Aaron Phillips, Joe Phillips, Michelle Torres, Mike McIntire, Jeff Nichols, Roger Laymon, Amy Laymon, Regina Phillips, Lee Ann Phillips, Amber Phillips, Matthew Phillips, and many more great grandchildren.
Budgy was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Betty McGee; sister, Geneva Neal and husband Sonny; sons, Gary and Terry Ivey; daughter, Dwayna “Sissy” Jones, and grandaughter Sissy Kay
Services to celebrate Budgy’s life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16 at First Baptist Church in Bokchito, Okla. Pastor Preston Burns will begin services, and Ross Phillips will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Interment will follow in Bokchito Cemetery with Kodi From, Blake Allen , Zack Harris, Brendon Harris, Johnny Harris and Kelly Schreiber serving as pallbearers.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
