DURANT – Daylin Hash, SVP/Commercial Lender at First United Bank in Durant, Okla., has joined the American Bankers Association’s Agricultural and Rural Bankers Committee for the 2019-2020 association year.

The committee, established in 1913, is made up of only 14 agricultural and rural bankers from across the country. Committee members meet throughout the year to discuss the critical issues affecting the ag community and provide guidance and recommendations to ABA on a number of issues relating to the industry. Committee members are appointed by ABA’s agricultural and rural banking division and serve up to three years.
“It is an honor to be part of this committee and advocate for the success of ag communities all over the country,” Hash said. “This appointment gives me the opportunity to meet frequently with my peers to discuss the current challenges affecting our banks and the ag banking industry as a whole.”
Daylin has 18 years of agricultural banking experience with a primary focus on cow/calf and stocker operations. He graduated from Canadian High School in Canadian, Texas and the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking.
Outside of the bank, Daylin is also a member and past President of the Durant Noon Lion’s Club, President of the Bryan County Junior Livestock Show, President of the Bryan County Farm Bureau, and Board member of the American Bankers Association’s Agriculture Commercial Lending School. Daylin and his wife, Tammy, have five children and five grandchildren.
