A lifelong resident of Bryan County, Doris attended Caddo School. Doris was married to the love of her life, Richard Dewel Arp until his passing in 2016. She was a member of Streetman Road Baptist Church. Doris was a long- time nurse and enjoyed working in the yard during her spare time.
Preceding her in death are her parents, John L. and Bessie Wisdom; husband, Richard Dewel Arp, and brother, Johnny Wisdom. 
Survivors include her son, Todd Kinney and wife, Shirley; grandchildren: Ty Kinney, Hannah Kinney, and Tarrah Kinney; nephew, John Craig Wisdom; great-nephew, John Austin Wisdom; sister-in-law, Norma Sue Wisdom; cousins, Betty Joe Stuteville and daughter, Dale Joines and family along with other extended family members and dear friends.
