Youth stickball tournament set to launch spring season at Choctaw Cultural Center

DURANT – The upcoming Peh Toli Youth Stickball Tournament is an annual event which helps launch the spring stickball season for youth teams in the region. Peh Toli, is Choctaw for “Just Play Ball.”

The 2024 Peh Toli Youth Stickball Tournament begins Thursday, May 30 at 3 p.m. in the Stickball Arena of the Choctaw Cultural Center, 1919 Hina Hanta Way, Durant. The finals are expected to begin about 6:30 p.m. Ages for participation are 12- to 17-year-olds, with almost 20 boys, girls, and coed teams registered to date.
Admission is complimentary for the public.
