Youth basketball camp for children with autism and special needs coming in July

DURANT – The Owen Foundation is hosting a special basketball camp this summer at Bloomer Sullivan Arena.

The camp is for all students with autism as well those who have disabilities. The event is designed to allow students to learn the game of basketball.

There will be coaches who have years of experience in this arena help teach participants some of the fundamentals needed in the game of basketball.

The camp is scheduled for July 13-15, 2022, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
