Xavier Devon Jones of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Monday, July 1, 2024 at the age of 26. He was born on Thursday, May 21, 1998 in Texarkana, Texas to Shane Jones and Amy Sharp.
He came to Durant, Okla., previously from Shreveport, La. He was a forklift driver, and a Jack of many trades. For two years, he also worked for Alaska Seaplanes.
He enjoyed video games and being in nature. He loved to skydive, fish, and hunt. He also loved the state of Alaska and wished to go back.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Frankie Turnbough.
Survivors include his parents, Shane Jones, Amy Sharp; stepfather, Brad Sharp; stepmother, Carol Stehr; grandparents, Marilyn and James Brown, Kathy and Riley Guttierez; sister, Stormie Jones; half-brothers, Lucas Stehr, Darion Jones, Stoney Sharp; half-sister, Reighni Jones; aunts, Victoria Flores and husband Daniel, Christina Watson, Donna Ray; uncles, James Turnbough and wife Melissa, Donnie Flowers and wife Jackie, Joey Jones, Clinton Trickel; numerous cousins as well as other extended family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 15, 2024 at Gordon Funeral Home in Durant, Okla., with Arie Hoogaven officiating.
