William H. Kopplin went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on July 13, 2021. He was born to Emil and Ethel Kopplin on March 6, 1934 in Ripon, Wisc.
He was baptized at the age of 12 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. He enjoyed playing football in high school. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1951 to 1973. He was awarded multiple decorations, medals, and badges.
On Oct. 16, 1963 he married Cora Dale (Bowers) in Denison, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Ethel Kopplin; wife, Dale Kopplin; beloved sons, Jimmy Kopplin and Doug Kopplin and daughter, Sherry Kopplin.
Left to cherish Bill’s memories are his two daughters, Vicki L. Yeats and husband James of Floyds Knobs, Ind. and Micha Holloway of Mead, Okla. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. 
A celebration of Bill’s life with military honors was held Saturday, June 17, 2021 at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant.
