William E. Dixon of Durant, Okla. passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019 at age 69. He was born Aug. 10, 1950 to Ector Harris Dixon and Laura Jo (Harris) Dixon in Bennington, Okla.
William grew up in Bryan County and attended and graduated Blue High School. William married Dorothy Juanita DaVault on Dec. 7, 1982 in Bonham, Texas. They spent 34 wonderful years together.
William was self-employed and specialized in trim carpentry. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and camping.
William is preceded in death by his parents, Ector and Laura Dixon and his wife Dorothy Dixon.
Loved ones left behind are his sons: Brent Dixon of Alvarod, Texas, Kevin Jackson of Roberta, Okla., Kenneth Jackson of Roberta, Okla.; grandchildren: Allie Beth Dixon, Jacob Jackson of Roberta, Okla., Daisy Jackson of Roberta, Okla., Sophia Jackson of Roberta, Okla.; sister, Laura Manners and husband Neal of Durant, Okla.; along with numerous friends and relatives.
