Wanda Faye Harless of Durant, Okla., passed from this life on Friday, June 9, 2023. She was born on June 9, 1941 in Brentwood, Calif., to Roy Franklin and Opal (Craddock) Harless.
Wanda enjoyed taking care of her home doing yardwork and cleaning. She also enjoyed cooking for loved ones. Wanda was a member of Fusion Bible in Durant, where she participated in D-Groups. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are her partner Connie Harless of Durant, Okla.; her sons, Mark Babcock of Brownsville and spouse (Barrdea, LeeAnne, Texas), Randel Harless of Tomball and spouse (Harless, Angela) Texas, Scott Babcock of Swink and spouse (Babcock, Mona) Oklahoma, Jeff Babcock of Hugo spouse (Babcock, Tammy) Oklahoma, and Jeremy Harless of Salem; two sons include Taden Stone and Lincoln Harless of Oregon; daughter, Amanda Harless of Richwood, Texas; brother, Bill Harless of Boswell, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Marilene Harless of Boswell, Okla., sister-in-law, Nancy Harless of Soper, Okla.; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren including her granddaughters Ashley Nemecek of Dallas spouse (Nemecek, Matthew), Texas, Katy Heusdain of Tomball spouse (Heusdain, Philippe) Texas, Casey Babcock of San Diego, Calif., and Jodeci Fleming of Alvin, Texas, her grandsons Joshua Fleming of Pasadena, Texas and Joseph Fleming of Alvin spouse (Flemming Jessica) of Texas, as well as her daughter, Heaven Claussen of Houston, Texas. She also has two other great grandchildren on the way as well.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Opal Harless; brothers: Johnny Harless, Joe Harless, and Kenneth Harless.
A Celebration of Wanda’s life was held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at Fusion Bible in Durant with Brad Hixon and David Whitlock.
Arrangements are under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral Home, 121 N. Fifth Ave. in Durant, Okla.
