DURANT – Train and Edwin McCain are coming to the three-time Academy of Country Music award winning Grand Theater inside Choctaw Casino & Resort – Durant this August!
The GRAMMY award winning band will be in Durant on Thursday, August 28. Train was formed in 1993 but shot to mainstream status in 2001 with the hit song “Drops of Jupiter” off the album of the same name. They’ve gone on to six top 10 albums and sold over 10 million copies worldwide. They’ve had four No. 1 songs, including 2009’s “Hey, Soul Sister.”
Joining Train in Durant is Edwin McCain. Best known for writing two huge love songs – “I’ll Be” and “I Could Not Ask For More” – McCain has also spent time in the world of television. He produced and starred in “Flippin’ Ships” on Animal Planet, but now he’s back on the road touring and performing his biggest hits.
