Tim Lathum of Calera, Okla., was born in Durant, Okla., on April 16, 1944 to Arthur Paul Lathum and Ida B. Benedict and passed from this life on Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at the age of 79.
On August 17, 2008 he married Regina Lee McGee in Sherman, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army, loved cars and motorcycles. He was an avid hotrod builder woodworker and professional piddler.
He enjoyed going out to eat with his friends and family. He was an usher at Victory Life Church and was the vice-president of the CMA.
He leaves behind his wife Regina of the home; son, Tim Lathum and wife Sharrisa of Durant, Okla.; daughter, Dawn Koziar and husband Craig of Southmayde, Texas; brothers, Larry Lathum of New Hampshire, Joe Lathum and wife Mary of Denison, Texas; grandson, Goose Latham and wife Chelsea; granddaughter, Kelsey Lathum and husband John; great-granddaughter, Alice; step-grandchildren, Tammy Verzi and husband Scott of Bells, Texas, Phillip Wilson and wife Donelle of Whitesboro, Texas, James Wilson of Lima, Ohio; eight step-grandchildren and eight step great-grandchildren as well as a host of friends and extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Victory Life Church in Durant, Okla.
