Three of five who tested positive for COVID-19 in Bryan County have already recovered

BRYAN COUNTY – The week starts with new numbers from an interactive website provided by the Oklahoma State Department of Health. 

As of noon on Monday, April 20, 2020, there were 2,680 people who have tested positive for COVID-19. And of that number, there have been 1,614 who have already recovered.

The site, which can be found HERE, can also be located as a link from the state’s main site: coronavirus.health.ok.gov .

Also of note locally is that as of the aforementioned date and time, there have been five cases of COVID-19 in Bryan County – with four reported in Durant and one in Mead. The interactive site notes that two of the four cases in Durant have recovered and the one case reported in Mead has also recovered.

The OSDH defines a recovery as one who is “currently not hospitalized or deceased and 14 days after onset/report.”
