A number of Bryan County athletes competed in the Oklahoma Native All-State Association games in Muskogee on Saturday.

The Oklahoma Native All State Association was initiated as an organization to support American Indian athletes and highlight their athletic accomplishments during the course of their senior year and to promote their talent and skills before potential college recruiters.

Those tabbed as all-staters in 2017 are: Bryce Brister (Silo) for asketball and Chase Hamilton (Calera) and Cooper Hamilton (Calera), each for baseball.

There were 80 student-athletes from Class 6A through Class B schools throughout the state recognized with the ONASA all-state honor.
