Terri Lynn Miles, a cherished, beautiful soul, joined her savior on October 22nd 2021, at the age of 62.
Terri was born in Beaumont, Texas, on March 20, 1959 to Kenneth Edward Clark and Virginia Susan (Jennings) Clark. She always loved having the distinction of being a native Texan. She spent most of her childhood in Gulfport, Miss. and eventually moving to Memphis, Tenn. to obtain her RN Nursing degree.
She was a cancer survivor at early adult age and eventually moved to Durant, Okla. to be closer to her mother.
She spent many years working at Behavioral Health at Texoma Medical Center.
Terri enjoyed watching movies especially if they were science fiction or thrillers. She had a passion for reading and couldn’t put a book down once she started. She had a great affection for her cats and treated them like her children. She was a textbook “Cat Lady.”
Terri was preceded in passing by her father, Kenneth Edward Clark in 1982.
She is survived by her mother, Susan Wyche of Durant, Okla.; a son, Jeremy Miles of Durant, Okla.; a daughter, Larissa Miles and her partner, Mike Gibbs of Chicago, Ill.; two granddaughters, M’Kenna Miller of Durant, Okla. and Charlotte Gibbs of Chicago, Ill.; brothers, Robert and wife, Laura Clark of Saucier, Miss., Ken and wife, Tricia Clark of Bella Vista, Ark.; a niece, Grace Clark of Fayetteville, Ark. and a nephew, Logan Clark of Bella Vista, Ark. along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Terri was a thoughtful and kind person and truly loved the Lord. She now rests in peace and is likely surrounded by all those loving kitties that preceded her.
