Tanner Wayne Williams age 30 of Caddo, Okla. passed away on May 29, 2021 at his home. Tanner was born on April 15, 1991 in Durant to Don and Lori (Horton) Williams.
Tanner attended school at Caddo and Coalgate. He worked on the pipeline and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing and he loved a good glass of whiskey.
Tanner was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gary Horton and Bill Williams and aunt, Dorothy Williams.
Tanner is survived by his father, Don Williams; mother, Lori Stephens and husband Jubal; sisters: Kaci Hutson and husband Clayton, Misti Brooke and Haley Dawn Williams; grandmothers: Lois McKennon and husband Pat and Donna Williams; his dog who he considered his son, Rip and nieces and nephews Sydney, Kaelynn, NaKona, Kylen and Twine.
A celebration of Tanner’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at the Caddo Rodeo Arena. Johnny Garside will officiate. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Cole Lambert, Andy Murphree, Alex Murphree, Buck Ratcliff, Johnny Braziel, Justin Franklin, Jackson Ward, Ray Warren, Clayton Hutson and Haley Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be NaKona Burns, Kylen McMichael, Twine Hutson, Jacoby Ammons, Levi Whorton, Michael Whorton, RD Pruitt, Roy Ratcliff, Hank Ratcliff and Jeremiah Golden.
Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
