CALERA – A new realty agency is opening in Calera.
Angie Sullivan has launched Heartbeat Realty to assist people in buying and selling homes, land, land/home combos and other needs they may have.
Sullivan said she wants, among other things, to help direct people in the first steps of buying a home.
“I’ve actually been a realtor for the past six years and worked for another local brokerage since 2011,” Sullivan said. “It’s something I really enjoy. I’ve kind of done it as a part-time job for the past few years and I’ve been wanting to get into it full-time and the opportunity came so now I’m here.”
While being a realtor, and along with her work at Texoma Home Center in Calera and Texoma Mud Park in Bokchito, as a mother of three, she and husband Jordan have also spent much time and care in recent months and years for youngest daughter, Blair, and her health, as it continues to improve.
“Blair was born a little over two years ago with a condition called hypoplastic left heart syndrome, which is a congenital heart defect,” Sullivan said. “And so, congenital heart defect awareness has been pretty high on my priority list. Then in February 2016, Blair received a heart transplant, so organ donation awareness has also been high on my priority list. And at some point, I hope to create a non-profit and focus more on that.
“But right now, we’re focusing on Heartbeat Realty. My logo actually has Blair’s heartbeat on it. From before the transplant and then after the transplant. That’s where our name came from – everything we’ve been through together for the last two and a half years. It’s been a struggle, but it’s brought our family closer together.”
Her office is now open in Calera at 203 N. Service Road. The business can also be found online on the Facebook page HERE.
“The Facebook page also has my cell number on it and I’m happy to answer any calls or texts for any questions anybody has about the home buying process and how it works,” Sullivan said.
“We would love to help you find your new home or sell your current home.”
