Sue Woodward

Edna Sue Woodward was born on August 29, 1944, in Kosciusko, Miss. to Milton Dean and Maudie (Forrester) Lambert. She passed from this life on December 31, 2022.

She married Dan Raymond Woodward on October 30, 1968, in Springer, Okla. She was a nurse at several of the local nursing homes as well as Memorial Hospital. After retiring from nursing, she became the secretary of Gene Autry School and worked there until the school closed. She loved her family very much and was known by many as Momma Sue or Meme.

Sue was a caring wife, mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and sister to her family as well as her husband’s family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dan, in May 2021; sisters, Frances Andrews, Lillian Mitchell, Eries Wood, Bonnie Easterling; brothers, Garland Lambert, Rudolph Lambert, Charles Lambert & Houston Lambert.

Sue is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deanna McNeely and husband Joe of Ardmore, Okla.; son, Greg Woodward of Ardmore, Okla.; grandchildren: Kallie McNeely and Kevin Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, Madison McNeely of Ardmore, Okla., Ethan Moore and Lexi Munkus of Lone Grove, Okla.; great-grandson, Cooper Moore of Lone Grove, Okla.; family friend that was like a daughter, Becky Pyle, and numerous neices, nephews and friends.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in the Craddock Memorial Chapel with Kevin Stinson officiating.
