Steven Dean Williams

Steven Dean Williams, 75, of Kingston, Oklahoma passed from this life on Friday, May 1, 2026, in Denison, Texas. Steven was born on February 14, 1951, in Bakersfield, California to parents Clomer Glen and Ruby J. (Armer) Williams.
Steven attended school in Modesto, Calif., and worked as a welder until his retirement. Steven proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict from February 14, 1969, until his Honorable Discharge on February 16, 1972. He married Darinda Jean Wolf on July 7, 2012, in Kingston and they were blessed with 13 years of marriage. Steven loved to play pool, fishing, riding his Harley, and had a deep love for his family.

Steven is preceded in death by his father, Clomer Glen Williams; mother, Ruby Miller and husband Frank; sons, Steven Dean Williams Jr. and Darrell Lee Williams; and brothers, Glen, James, and Larry Williams.

Steven is survived by is loving and devoted wife, Darinda Williams of the home; children: Shana Hightower and husband Jason of Kingston, Okla., Kris Lemons and wife Michelle of Madill, Okla., Lindsey Lemons of Madill, Okla., Amanda Bargas and husband Donny of Madill, Okla., and Ashley Gentis and husband Keelan of Durant, Okla.; sister, Joni Williams of Coos Bay, Oreon; grandchildren: Drake, Montana, Tiana, Seth, Kristyn, Ashlynn, Hunter, Mason, Braxel, Hily, Deven, Lea, Tylor, Addison, and Jettson; great-grandchildren: Klayton, Joliegh, and Raya and numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday May 22, 2026, at the Seaman First Class Billy Turner Veterans Cemetery in Ardmore, Okla. Following the service at 12:30 p.m. a lunch will be served at the Marshall County Chickasaw Community Center, located at 10932 Enos Road in Kingston.

Arrangements are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Service.
