Steven Michael Atkeisson was born May 24, 1965 in Corsicana, Texas to Bobby Harold Atkeisson and Barbara Royce (Moore) Atkeisson. He passed from this life on May 9, 2023 in Durant, Okla., at the age of 57. 
Steven grew up and attended school in Mildred, Texas. He enjoyed building and fixing things and working on his truck.
Steven is survived by his dad and mother of Mildred, Texas; a sister, Michelle Jock and her husband, Randy of Mildred, Texas; brother, Joe Atkeisson of Corsicana, Texas; son, Ricky Atkeisson and his wife, Jessica of Corsicana, Texas; daughter, Erin Grimes and her husband, Michael of Durant, Okla.; son, Justin Grimes and his wife, Halee of Durant, Okla.; son, Larenz Bowens; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial visitation in his honor will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, June 4, 2023, at Brown’s Funeral Home in Durant, Okla.
