Stacie Leanne Allison, 49, of Durant, Oklahoma, joined the great cloud of heavenly witness on July 15, 2025.
Stacie Leanne Allison was born on January 23, 1976, in Pampa, Texas. Her parents were Frank Edward and Cheryl Anne (Teague) Johnson of Pampa. She grew up there surrounded by close family, friends, and church. Her family were faithful followers of Christ, and she was born again early in life.
She attended school, dance, and choir. She rode and took care of horses and attended and participated in rodeos. She graduated from Pampa High School in 1994 and went to Frank Phillips Junior College in Borger, Texas.
In 1996, she made a big move to Durant, Oklahoma, to attend the school of business at Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She immediately settled in and got a job at First United Bank in the bookkeeping department. In the summer of 2000, she met her husband and three sons, and they were wed on February 24, 2001, in their new home where she became a wife and mother. She graduated from SOSU with a degree in business in May 2001. She went to work at United Commercial Capital as a loan origination officer and then joined her husband in building their construction business.
In 2005, she gave birth to Anna and in 2012 she had Mattie, giving her husband two girls. She started work as a preschool teacher at Victory Life Academy in 2016 to be close to her daughters that attended there. She loved all her students and sewed good things into their lives. In 2023 she returned to help her husband and take care of the home and busy lives of the girls. Throughout her life she showed selfless devotion and sacrifice to family. She had the most beautiful smile and always loved to engage and cut up at gatherings and events. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend.
Stacie is survived by her father, Frank Johnson; her husband, Todd Allison; their children: Skyler, Kaleb and Jackie, Taylor, Anna, and Mattie Allison; her brother, Shawn Johnson of Ringling, Okla.; and Tamra Copeland of Amarillo.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Cheryl Anne Douthit of Durant.
A visitation will be held on Monday, July 21, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at Brown’s Funeral Service in Durant.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Brown’s Funeral Service chapel in Durant. Burial will follow at Lone Cedar Cemetery in Mannsville, Okla.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Durant Funeral and Cremation Services.
